Shakespeare in the Bush
An American in the 60s lives for a time with a tribe in West Africa. During storytelling time, she tries to recount the supposedly timeless plot of Hamlet to an audience that doesn’t believe in insanity, ghosts, or naturally-occurring drowning, among other things.
